Ray Brown, age 71, of Grove City, passed away March 17, 2018 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. He was born in Mingo County, WV to the late Julius and Causby Brown. He was a 1964 graduate of Grove City High School. Ray retired from Nationwide Insurance after 43 years of service. He was preceded in death by his brother Arlie Brown, sister Roberta (Ken) Fout, step father Robert Hale and mother-in-law Ruth Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Susan Taylor Brown; children, Douglas (Jason) Brown and Rebecca Johnson; stepmother, Thelma Hale; brother, Claude (Betty) Brown; sisters, Lois (Woody) Woodcox, Louella (David) Coleman and Brenda (Rick) Curry; sister-in-law, Irene Brown; grandchildren, Tristan, Skylar and Kolby; several nephews and nieces. Friends may visit Friday from 5-7 PM at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus Street, Grove City, Ohio, where funeral will be held 1 PM Saturday. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery.
