I love seeing your smile everytime we pass you at the cemetary. We still always honk and say "Hi Billy!" or "Merry Christmas Billy!" You were such a light in this world, so I see why God needed you. But we still miss you. Tell Grandpa, Bobby, and Junior that I said 'hi'. Tell them we miss them too. I love you Billy.

Hey Billy-
I think about you often and tell my kids how much they would have loved their cousin little Billy. You were such a kind, sweet person and I miss you. I imagine you hear us honk when we pass your grave or see us when we get out and say hi, but it sure would be nice to give you a hug or hear your voice. You were gone too soon from us and it hurts. I love you and look forward to another poker game once I make it up to you and Grandpa.

Lit Bill,

I had no access to give you a little note. It was your birthday and I was on vacation and had no way to give you a message except everytime I close my eyes. I just wanted you to know that we all miss you very much and think of you all the time. I go by your and dads grave almost everyday. It was nice all the things that were left at the grave by everyone. I'm sure you know how much you are missed. The tree that Aunt Alma gave your dad has really grown. You will alway be on my mind. I miss you all the time.

Tammy, Billy, Mike and Courtney: We love you guys so much and our hearts are still breaking. You should feel proud that you raised such a wonderful son and had 22 years with him. Some people never receive that blessing. We all have such great memories of Billy and know that he lived a wonderful life and is now in Heaven for a wonderful eternity. God Bless and Love You All.

Tammy, Bill, Mike and Courtney: There are still no words we can say to express our sadness for your loss. Billy was a beautiful person and we miss him dearly. We miss his smile, and his helpfulness to others, and his lust for life. The fact that he lived his life with no regrets is an inspiration to others. Billy had such a love of family and we loved it when he came over just to hang out. Our family get togethers will never be the same without him, but we will always have to have a poker game in his memory. And maybe take turns running our shirts up the flag pole. I hope you can take comfort from the fact that he touched so many people in so many ways in the short time he was here. May he rest in peace. We love you all.

To the family of Billy... We are praying that God will lift you up in your time of grief.

I hadn't seen Billy in a few years... time always gets in the way of life... But, when I was younger...I would always babysit him and Michael and Courtney with Lesann... It seems like we were always over at the Compton house having a BLAST... Billy was quiet and kind and always very sweet... He would TRY to help Lesann and I when the younger kids got a little crazy.=) We all would play in the corn fields and scare eachother...

I know that Billy meant THE WORLD to his entire family... He was their rock, their friend, their helper and so much more. We do not always understand God's ways, but we can draw our STRENGTH and HOPE from Him... I pray that's what you all do...

You guys will always be like family to me, and I love you all.

** We thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new... We thought about you yesterday and days before that too... We think of you in silence, we often speak your name.. All we have are memories and your pictures in a frame... Your memory is our keepsake with which we'll never part... God has you in His keeping and we have you in our hearts. **

Rest in heavenly peace Little Billy..

Little Billy... What can I say.. Well Jason said it all. You were truly one of a kind. A good kid and a blessed soul. Your Mom and Dad did a good job raising you and your brother and sister. Watch over them. They all need you now more than ever. I know Jesus in all his glory was there to take you in and keep you warm. Your death made me realize life is too short and we need to live life. We should learn to forgive and love. You were all about family and that is what life should be. Thank you for being who you were, nothing more nothing less.

Tammy and Bill.. Be proud and know you are amazing parents. Cry, but know you will see Billy again. He is an angel guiding you along. See his beauty in every sunrise and sunset.

Courtney and Mikey remember you are just as special as Billy, now let his love guide you through your life.

"Three things will last forever- Faith, hope, and love- And the greatest of these is love."

First
I would like to say to Tammi and Bill how sorry I am that you have to
endure this tragedy. My prayers and anything else that I can give are
with you always. Call me if you need anything.

I will always remember Billy for saying "Here you go, I got your
lights" or "Don't worry about your lights, it's cool". He always had my
back.

Eventhough I wasn't able to play last thursday, I will always
thank God that I decieded to stop by and visit with everyone during the
game. I sat at the last table he delt, and he kept wanting to deal me
in. It was great to spend the time with him, he was in a great mood
that night. BFC forever...

Little Billy,
Because of you, i truly believe that the good do die young. You are in a much better place now, because of what an amazing person you were while you were here. I will miss you very much.
I remember when you came to my apartment one day to unclog the bathroom sink that had been clogged for weeks. It was disgusting. Probably two days later i dropped the FAKE diamond from my brand new lip ring down the exact same drain. Twenty minutes later you were there, pulling my diamond out of the drain, and didn't ask a thing for it.
I am so blessed to be your cousin. I have learned so much from you about life, just by watching the way you live it.
So enjoy resting up there, even though i miss you, because you really deserve it.
I love you.

To Tammi, Bill, Grandfather Mike, and the entire family, my heartfelt sympathy for all of you. One should never have to lose the younger generation. Billy wasn't at the Eagles long before he impressed me and a lot of other Brothers and Sisters as to what a nice young man he was. His smiling face will be sorely missed by all who were touched by his super personality. God Bless You, Billy.

I have been blessed by the entire Napolitano family since I was 15. Billy would have been 10 when I started coming around.

Billy was the boy who hid from the video camera and spoke softly to ask permission for a glass of water.

Billy was the kid who would take other people's junk - take it apart to see how it worked - and put it back together again (except the rusty tricycle).

Billy was the teenager who - at the stroke of midnight, 2000 - switched the circuit breaker off in the basement and everyone at the Bella Via house thought the world was about to end. When we looked out the back window and saw that the neighbors still had electricity and when we heard Billy's infectious laughter in the basement, we knew he had pulled off the ultimate prank!

Billy was the first guy at all of the family parties to show up. He would sit quietly for the first hour or two with quarters in his pockets until the need for poker action consumed him. He would then recruit poker players more aggressively than Jim Tressel recruits Heisman hopefuls.

Billy was the man who lived his life to the fullest. He enjoyed all of the moments that life had to offer. Billy lived his life as though he knew his own fate.

William Robert Compton III will be the legend who inspired us all to sieze the day, live without regret, live without enemies, respect our mothers, and help others less fortunate. We owe it to "Little Billy" to wake up every morning, look ourselves in the mirror, and promise to maintain these values he held so close to his heart.

Billy, we miss you, we love you, and when the good lord calls for me, deal me in.

Respectfully,

Uncle Jason

Billy was my sweet lil wannabe bartender. I will miss the calls in the evening where he is yelling from a loud bar, asking me what's in a certain shot, ususally some weird thing I haven't even heard of. At 6'3", he towered over every one of us, yet to anyone who knew him best, he will always be "Little Billy". He was the first to initiate poker at EVERY family function because he LOVED to be around the table yelling over each other about whose turn it is to go. Billy grew up with me as a brother, not a nephew. He was so shy and loving and so fascinated with how things work. He was one of the most intelligent young men that I had knew. He did a lot of things the last year of his life that he always wanted to do, like go to Vegas to help us move there. I am so glad we got to be a part of that. I wish we could have been here to spend the last year with him, and we will miss him forever. I am truly sorry Tyler will only know Billy by his photos/ videos and stories. Comptons- we love you so very much and I feel blessed each and every day to have the wonderful family that I have. Let's never let a day go without letting each other know how much we mean to one another. Life is too short. God Bless you Billy. Rest in Peace.

Billy was a great person and role-model. I loved how he lived life in laid back mode, living with no regrets and never dwelling in the past. I've always looked up to him. Billy always had a kind hearted smile, no one could forget the "dimples". He always treated everyone around him with such respect and dignity. I will always remember him as a very outgoing, will do anything for anyone, always helping kind of man. I will never forget the memories we've shared but also look to the future when all of us meet up in heaven one of these days. They say wanting someone back is being selfish, yeah by me praying that Billy would come back is selfish to him but we all want him back. Billy was selfless, always helping people before himself. I will remember him forever and try to live by his example, living with no regrets and no enemies, I know it is impossible for anyone to ever compare to Billy. That is why I respect and love him so much. Bless the Compton family.

Lil Billy

Although we all know that you were on loan to us from God it doesn't make your departure any easier. The past month I got to see you more often than usual and I thank God for that. You were a wonderful young man. You leave this world with no one able to say anything but good about you. How many of us can say that? You will be missed at every get-together because you never missed one. You made an attempt to be a part of every family members life. You were there for anyone that needed you and never complained. You are so special. We love you.

O Bill. We will never understand why He wanted you so soon. Why, after only 22 years? You were the most genuinely caring person. You were always ready to lend the helping hand. When I needed to move, you were there. When I needed new brakes for my car, you were there. When anyone needed anything, you were there. I'm sorry we couldnt help you in your worst time in that hospital. But I know that you will always be with us. So enjoy your time up there eating great grandpas spaghetti cuz we will all be up there sooner or later telling you to scoot over and make room for our plates:) May you rest in peace baby. I love you. And thanks for being the person you were. You touched more hearts than you will ever know. I will always look up to you Bill. And for the rest of my life, try to achieve being even half the person you were. Look down on your family. Especially your parents and siblings, and help them realize you are still here in soul. You will never be forgotten Lil Billy. Love you.

First I would like to give Billy's family my deepest condolences. Billy was by far one of the greatest guys I have met in a long time... I'm sure you all already know that. I only wish that he was here long enough to allow Matt and I to make him as happy as he has made us. He was a great friend, one of the best friends we've had. He had a way of brightening up every room with his beautiful smile and contagious laugh with his adorable dimples. He told me one Thursday that I took his name "Dimples". And he told me I should be "Dimple" since I only have one. I asked him to take "Dimple" since I've been "Dimples" for a while now. So we had this inside joke that I would call him "Dimple". He just got a kick out of that! Billy would do anything for anyone... just last Thursday, playing cards, he was out before the first blind structure was up, and he continued to deal for our table even though we were passing the deal and he didn't have to continue dealing. He said its only because he loved us. We loved him too. Once again, I'm so sorry this had to happen to such a great person. GOD truly did receive an awesome angel. He will be dearly missed and never forgotten. We will always remember the great times we had, and New Years Eve was the best ever for us all. A night I will remember him by. We went through a lot together in a short amount of time. I know I've gotten through the past few days by sending him messages on Myspace, and by talking about him with loved ones.
We love you!

My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Compton family. I am greatly sorry for your loss and my heart and prayers go out to you. Although I only met Billy a short time ago, I knew that I had met a wonderful person, and I will never forget New Years 2007.

Billy, Noone can possibly understand why GOD chose you but I know in my heart you are in a much better place now. After seeing you Sunday there is no way he was going to let you suffer anymore. Baby we ALL miss and love you sooo much/You touched so many lives and everytime you walked into any room you lit it up with that beautiful smile and those dimples. I know you left this world with no regrets or enemies...very few people can do that. GOD needed another angel and he couldnt have found a better one to take...even though our hearts are broken I know now you WILL find that dream girl and youll be forever young and happy. For anyone who never met you I am truely sorry because they will never know the joy and love you brought to anyone who knew you!!!!/ I love you honey and will never go a day without you in my thoughts . I just pray so hard for your mom, dad, bother and sister that GOD will get them through this. Please anyone who reads this do the same. Our family is such a close family and your prayers are truely needed. Billy im going to go now but knowing you are watching over all of us somehow brings me some peace because I always knew you were an angel here on earth but Sunday GOD gave our special angel wings and NOW baby there is nothing you cant do!!!!/Love Aunt Chell
