Just happenstance that I caught his obit returning home from SF. Knew him at LMU, playing football on his intramural team "Larry's Boys." I was a freshman, he, an "old man" senior. Having just left my own large clan behind to see what these Jesuits could teach me, his warm, affable and welcoming nature helped pave my own way. It's clear he remained that and more some 38 years later. May those qualities live on in those friends he made and the family he leaves behind.I tip my cap to them, and the priest at St. Francis for molding such a good and decent man....

May the God of all comfort strengthen the entire family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. (Psalms 116:15) My sincerest condolence.

Larry always greeting me with his smile and handshake when he arrived at the coral house in pebble. I enjoyed his company and vibrant personality. I am fortunate and grateful I was able to know him however brief. Peace Larry...

Dear sweet Kelli, family & friends of Larry. From Kelli's home in Beaumont and all of us from here who know her, our hearts ache for you. As early as a month ago, Kelli was in Beaumont visiting with family & some of her friends. I happened to be one of the lucky ones to get to see and have lunch with her. During that lunch, Kelli reminisced and spoke specifically of her happy life with Larry, the story of how they met, what an exceptional Christian husband & father he was, and how wonderful her life had turned out to be. It seems those who had the privilege to share in Larry's presence on this earth, were truly blessed beyond measure. May God's blessings guide you during this difficult journey. Sincere prayers to all. I love you, Kelli.

For years, I have only known him by sight. I knew where he, his wife, and children sat at 12:15 Mass. You could count on their presence and his beautiful and kind smile. I didn't know Larry, but I felt I "knew" him. I am saddened for your loss.....his soul radiated Christ even to the "strangers" with whom he shared the pews. May he rest in peace.
