Mary W. Kizer

FAYETTEVILLE - Mrs. Mary Ethel Westbury Kizer, 92, of Fayetteville, died Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, in Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. Mrs. Kizer was the owner and operator of Kizer's Kiddie Korner. A funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at noon in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville with burial following in Cross Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Madison Q. "Mack" Kizer; brothers, John Brunett Westbury and James Kenneth Westbury; sisters, Margaret Weeks and Kathryn Williams. Surviving are her son, James "Jim" Madison Kizer; daughter, Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Hillman; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haymount United Methodist Church, 1700 Ft. Bragg Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28303; or to Jamestown United Methodist Church, 403 East Main St. Jamestown, NC 27282.
