Dear Jane and family, I met David so long ago, when we were all young and sang for fun. He was a notably kind man, with a deep sweetness. Such a rare person's exit from life can't help but pain us deeply. He will linger in our hearts and memories as someone who lived a good life and is much loved.

My sympathies to you and your family, Jane. Like Steve and Deb, my memories of you and Dave go back to IPFW and the Singers. Of course I had the pleasure of seeing Dave and his great smile almost every day at the library. He will be missed by many.
