MARILYN J. LLOYD, 88, passed away Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Hartford City, she worked as a pre-school teacher with Wesleyan Kiddie Kollege for 25 years, retiring in 2002. She was a board member and secretary of Spring Street Wesleyan Church. She played piano and organ at chuch for over 60 years. She also cleaned the church, volunteered when needed and taught at the Wesleyan Kiddie Kollege. She is survived by her husband, Garrett Lloyd of Fort Wayne; sons, Larry (Judy) Lloyd and Jim (Susan) Lloyd, both of Fort Wayne; daughter, Patti (Charlie) Snyder of Columbia City; brother, Richard Smith of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Janice (Bruce) Conrad, Joyce DeLeo, Jeff Lloyd and Leslie Lloyd, all of Fort Wayne, Bart (Kelly) Goodin and Brent Goodin, both of Columbia City, Brad (Kim) Goodin and Ben (Chana) Goodin, both of Fort Wayne; 16 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orlando and Eleanor Smith; brother, Robert Smith; son-in-law, Mike Goodin; granddaughter, Laura Brother ton; and grandson-in-law, Danny Brotherton. Funeral ceremony is 2 p.m. Monday at Three Rivers Wesleyan Church, 1835 Spring St., with calling one hour prior to service. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Three Rivers Wesleyan Church.
