Jennifer Leach Obituary
Jennifer was born in Philadelphia, and graduated from Council Rock High School in 1996. She went on to attend Fordham University in New York, where she studied abroad in France for a year. After graduating from college in 2000, Jennifer worked as a professor teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) until her first daughter was born in 2005. In the years that followed, Jennifer devoted herself to raising her two beautiful, smart, and caring daughters. She returned to teaching in 2013, when she began working part time at a private school in Washington, DC, and as an adjunct professor of Frederick Community College's ESL program.
Jennifer's faith, grace, and love of life have been an inspiration to all whose lives she touched. Her quick wit and sense of humor could be seen in everything she did-whether spending time with friends and family, supporting her community, or traveling the world. Indeed, Jennifer's smile lit up every room as she lived "la belle vie" to its fullest. She will be deeply and profoundly missed by all.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 20 from 1 to 3 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Keeney and Basford PA Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 21 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 9201A Church Street, Libertytown, MD 21791, followed by a luncheon. Final disposition and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (www.bcrfcure.org) in Jennifer's honor. Jennifer was a sweet and caring person and she did light up the room when she entered it with her beautiful smile. I met her at curves in 2012/2013 and we became buddies at the gym instantly. I am sorry to hear of her passing so late. She will be missed by all the lives she touched. I want you to know how greatly she loved her family and her two gorgeous girls.My prayers are sent your way..

I only knew Jennifer through my daughter Jennifer Oney, but she was the greatest friend and comfort to "my" Jen when her stepfather passed a year ago. She came to Vermont to support her and comfort her. She was an inspiration to me and as I see to everyone who met her. She will be missed terribly but the light she left in this world will never be extinguished. She is now in paradise with our Lord Jesus. God bless you all as you grieve. My heart goes out to all of you.

Quelques lignes de France d'Auvergne et de Bourgogne. Je me souviens particulièrement d'une visite que j'avais rendu il y a quelques années à Jennifer et Tim lorsqu'ils étaient en résidence de cursus d'études dans la ville rose. Le chaleureux accueil de Jennifer, sa joie de vivre et sa passion pour transmettre son savoir des langues restent de merveilleux souvenirs à mes yeux.
Je me rappel également d'une journée de joie et d'allégresse en terres Bourguignonnes qui ce jour là avait raisonné au son de l'orgue et de la trompette....Depuis, la vie à fait que nous ne nous étions pas forcément vu, mais avoir appris ce jour le départ de Jennifer me peine profondément. Cependant, je souhaite à tous de garder ces belles images et cette joie de vivre qu'a su communiquer Jennifer aux amis ou personnes qu'elle croisait sur son chemin. Bon vent à toi Princesse!! Toutes mes sincères pensées à la famille Colleen O'Brien, à ses filles, et à la famille Leach. Tim, sois fort! J'aimerais terminer ce message par une note musicale: Pour tous les amoureux de musique qui connaitraient la Méditation de Thas, alors que cette douce mélodie dans sa version trompette et orchestre symphonique, accompagne Jennifer pour l'éternité.

Jennifer exemplified what it means to love God and love your neighbor. She truly understood what taking up your cross each day really means. I will continue to pray for her beautiful girls, her parents, and the rest of her family and her friends.
