There are so many memories and words for Harry and all the wonderful qualities that made him very special to all who had the pleasure of time spent with him.
Not just at Goddard but, the Cape, and Houston, his memory will live on as he was one of a kind. I learned so much from Harry over the 15 years we worked together. Harry, you´re a good friend leaving here to soon. You will be missed dearly. Our paths will cross again.
Reese and family, thoughts and prayers are with you. Harry beamed bright when he spoke of you. Godspeed my friend.

Well, we really lost a great guy. One less bright light. Harry was the best. So funny, so smart, so real, so thoughtful. We had know each other for ~ 40 years and I can honestly say it was a privilege. I have so many memories that he will always be close to my heart. I can´t help but smile when I think of some of our antics from the early days in the Nimbus Control Center. He was a real trooper and continued to fight through his medical issues. He honestly loved life and I can´t remember a cross word coming from his mouth. If you knew him, he will live forever in your thoughts. You just can´t forget about Harry. My thoughts and prayers are with Reese and the rest of his family. He was so proud of all of them and saw the best in everyone. Truly one of a kind. Rest well my friend until we meet again in Heaven!

I've had the pleasure of working with Harry since I joined the HST project in 1991. Harry was always pleasant to be around, never a cross word about anyone. Always showed kindness to others, especially those in need.

In more recent years my son got into NASCAR. This opened up a whole other world of conversations with Harry. We both have a love of cars, though he has had much cooler ones than me.

Harry was never braggy but always had interesting stories to tell, usually about radios, cars, NASA stuff and things that fly.

Godspeed Harry as you fly off into this fantastic journey.

Harry was such a wonderful person. I worked with him on the Nimbus and Hubble projects meeting over 35 years ago. We shared our love of sports cars and he always had new pictures to show me whenever we met. I'll miss you my gentle giant.

Harry was one of the kindest people I ever know. He always had a smile on his face. His voice was gentle and I don't think I ever heard him get angry with anyone in 30 years or say a cross word. He loved working and I believe he could have easily stayed home for health reasons, but he didn't. He wanted to get back to work. His dedication to NASA and Hubble was amazing. I miss you Harry!
