Warren Talley Obituary
July 16, 1945 - January 27, 2022
Warren Winford Talley, age 76, of High Point, NC, passed away on January 27, 2022. Warren was born on July 16, 1945 in Burlington, NC to Gilbert A. and Faye M. Talley. After Warren graduated from Walter Williams High School in 1963, he served his country for four years in the Air Force before earning a bachelor's degree from East Carolina University. After graduation he became a successful businessman who owned and operated Talley Water in Greensboro, NC. Warren used his business as an opportunity to share his love of Christ to any and all he encountered. He will be fondly remembered for his quick wit, quiet generosity and overarching motivation to be pleasing unto God. He often went out of his way to help someone in need even if that person was a competitor. He was predeceased by his parents, Gilbert A. and Faye M. Talley of Burlington, NC and his sister, Nancy T. Thompson of Greensboro, NC. He is survived by his sister, Sue Hogan and husband Wayne of Clarksville, VA, and nephews, Brian and wife Kristie Hogan of South Boston, VA and Steve Hogan of Buffalo Junction, VA. As charitably-focused as he was, Warren was an intensely private man and as such wished to defer a service. He invested his heart into his water filtration business and was dedicated to serving the customers of Talley Water. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Christian charity or church of your choosing in memory of Warren.

I had the pleasure of meeting Warren in 1980. He was a supervisor at a large plant and treated me upon arrival as a temp as the most important person there. He serviced my account the same way 40 years later. To be successful is to know that you have found favor with G-d. It breaks my heart to lose such a servant.
