Joseph John Sarmiento Obituary
Joseph John Cepeda Sarmiento, formerly of Santa Rita, Jonestown and Barrigada was called home by our heavenly Father to make music among angels, at the age of 68.
Joe was a music teacher at Mt Carmel School, worked for Continental Micronesia and Delta Airlines. A lifetime musician, he was an original member of The Compadres and continued to make music with various local musicians in both Guam and Saipan.
Now reunited with loved ones, but his melody continues through his legacy of love and cherished memories.
In accordance with his wishes, a private cremation was held in Laredo, Texas. All who knew and loved Joe are welcome to join his children in remembering him on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 9-12pm at Island Hope Church, located on 988 Army Drive Route 16, lower Barrigada Heights. A Christian Memorial Service will be offered at 12:30pm.

Buenas & Håfaloha, Auntie Maria, 2nd cousins Norma, Ronald, & Pedro Shawn and living, extended families & friends.
We offer our sincerest condolences. We pray that y'all find comfort in the Lord's promises & strength to carry y'all through this time of mourning.
We've always enjoyed & appreciated the "music" & "melodies" defunto JOE brought with him wherever he went. He certainly made 'joyful noise unto the Lord!' God's peace & blessing be upon us all.
