Ann and I had an opportunity to spend some very special moments with Vanessa and Tracy in Monaco several years ago! While there were numerous other interactions during my tenure on the Guardian Board, this is our most memorable! Tracy was a rarity in so many unique, positive ways - his death an enormous loss!

Tracy Rich embodied that calm elegance and thoughtful intelligence that left all who knew him with a sense of comfort and safety. Whatever the plan, policy or protocol, if Tracy was involved, all knew everything would be handled efficiently and effectively. I loved Tracy's sense of humor, shared his love for music and cooking great meals, and was blessed to have witnessed his joy and love for his family. Thank you, Vanessa, Bryant, Dana, Muriel, Linda, Betty, Doris, Steve, Julia and Grace for sharing him with me for nearly 30 years. I am hugging each of you with my heart.

Absolutely gutted at this news. I worked with Tracy in developing a financial literacy program for urban students, and his guidance was instrumental. He was a true man of character. Deepest condolences to his family.

Tracy led by example. He taught us how to treat others with kindness and integrity. His commitment to his family and friends was unparalleled. Tracy was a great mentor and always had excellent parenting advice. Tracy especially lit up talking about Holden.
I sorely miss him and my heart goes out to Vanessa, Bryant, Dana, Julia, Steve and Holden.

We were deeply saddened to hear of Tracy's passing. He was a kind and gentle man, and our son Steve couldn't have had a nicer father-in-law. We are glad to have known Tracy.

Vanessa, Bryant, Dana and the entire family - It seems like only yesterday that we celebrated Tracy's retirement. I first met Tracy during the interview process when he was considering joining Guardian. I worked with him as he gained his footing in the Office of the Corporate Secretary, and we worked through a plethora of challenges.
Tracy Rich was an outstanding father, husband and grandfather. Moreover, he was an extraordinary human being. The kindness he extended as a mentor to my son, who served as an intern in the Law Department, made me an even bigger fan. I spoke with him recently for an extended period of time. Tracy said that he needed a little time to get back to me on a few things I needed guidance with...
I hope to finish that conversation with him one day.
My prayers and thoughts are with his family at this time.

Working with Tracy at Connecticut Mutual was a privilege. When you needed wise counsel from an exceptional listener interested in helping you, Tracy was your go to person. Tracy was as thoughtful about people as he was thoughtful in expressing his considerable knowledge of the law. Tracy was a role model for character and integrity.
