I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Colonel Moon. Although I did not know him personally I felt I knew of his wit and charm from family and acquaintance gatherings. My condolences go to my cousin Mary Jo and her family who after 61 years will have multitude of warm and wonderful memories. God bless and keep you well.
Until We Meet Again.

I'm so sorry for the loss to the Moon family. It's been years since I've seen John. The moment I seen his picture and read his obituary I recalled his kind, yet strong, intelligent personality which left a lasting impression every time i spoke with him. Colonel Moon provided me with a life time impression as to what one would expect when meeting an Honorary United States Military Officer. Throughout the years in which I traveled abroad working amongst the US as well as foreign military Colonal Moon would always come to mind when meeting high ranking officers. From what I recall, the conduct of his son and daughters it was apparent that John was respected by his children. During my school years, I remember spending time around John, Leslie and Jane, they were the example of refined discipline parenting which beared promising results. I'm honored to have known Colonel John Moon, his wife and family. My thoughts shall be with the family during this most difficult time, and I wish you all the best..Your Friend forever,W. E.
