MARTHA L. WILLIAMS

MARTHA L. WILLIAMS, 78, of Kenova formerly of Hinton, W.Va., passed away February 5, 2015, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington following a long illness. She was a retired clerk with the Sanitation Department for the City of Hinton. Preceding her in death were her parents, Wellington Ernest and Kathryn Ruth Vickers Longsworth and son, Thomas Gregory Williams. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Eric and Carrie Williams of Beaver, W.Va.; daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Chuck Adams of Kenova; brothers, Harold Morris Longsworth of Farmville, Virginia and David Earl Longsworth of Tanners Run, Ohio; sister, Lois Jean Armstrong of Coalburg, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A gathering of her family and friends will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Fidler and Frame Funeral Home, Belle, W.Va. A private family committal will be held in Teays Hill Cemetery, St. Albans, W.Va., later Sunday afternoon. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, West Virginia 25703.
