Robert Hoffman Obituary
Mr. Hoffman attended Harlem Reformed Church. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and was the owner/operator of Hoffman Trucking for over 50 years.
Preceding him in death were siblings and in-laws, Joan and Don Dekker, Harvey and Marlene Hoffman, Harley Hassevoort, and John Smidt.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis Hoffman of Holland; children, Cynthia (Terrence) O'Neil, Richard (Alicia) Hoffman, Russell (Julie) Hoffman, Crystal (Michael) McCarthy, and Constance (Karl) Vander Zwaag; grandchildren, Johnathan, Lindsay, Cameron, Kayla, Karra, Robert, Phillip, Katie, Addie; great grandchild, Kennedy; Sisters, Betty Smidt, Doris (Jim) Geib, and Carol Rutgers; in-laws, Ken (Anita) Hassevoort, Betty Hassevoort, Pauline (Don) Nauta, and Bruce Hassevoort; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Harlem Reformed Church, 6854 144th Ave., Holland. Officiating will be the Rev. John Nyitray. Entombment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 9-11 a.m. prior to the service at Harlem Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Hospice of Holland, or to Evergreen Commons.
