Raymond Bernard Obituary

Raymond "Rambo" Bernard
Raymond "Rambo" Bernard passed away peacefully at the age of 72 on Saturday, February 13th at 10:26 AM. He was a resident of Thibodaux, LA.
Ram is survived by brothers James (Betty) Bernard, Reese (Bernice) Bernard, Donald (Linda) Bernard, and Michael (Lois) Bernard in addition to sister Yvonne Andras, godchild Michelle Bernard Babin, nieces and nephews, and countless special friends who were all like family to him.
Ram was the General Manager of the Red Goose Saloon in Thibodaux where he was always known as "the life of the party" and made many lifelong friendships through his time serving the public. He never met a stranger, and he was always willing to have "one more" with anyone he'd run across.

Ram is preceded in death by his parents Clifford J. Bernard, Sr. and Ruby Portier Bernard, brother Clifford J. Bernard, Jr., and brother-in-law Steve Andras.
A graveside service with military honors will be held in his honor on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Garden of Memories Cemetery at 10:00 am.

My deepest sympathies.May the God of all comfort strengthen the entire family during this time of sorrow. Always remember that God keeps in his memory those whom we lose because they are precious in his eyes (Psalms 116:15)

To my Paron. There are no words to thank you for the memories that you gave me. You were always there through the toughest times in my adult hood. But you were there when I was young also. I will miss your hugs and you calling me Baby Cakes. I wish I would have saved the voice messages you left me so I can listen to your voice over and over again. I know you with Paw Paw, Maw Maw, and Uncle CJ. Just dont give them to hard of a time. You are my guardian Angel now. I know you will always watch over me. I love you so much and will carry you with me every second I live. Love u Paron and one day we shall meet again!!
