He baptized me age 7 at Second Baptist Church of Jacinto City. I still pray specific ways he taught in his sermons, worded straight out of the Holy Bible. He's home now in Glory. What a thing to see his reception had to be when Pastor Skip Smith met The Lord Jesus

OMG! I hate seeing this but I love knowing that you are with our Lord and Savior! You and your family were such a big part of mine and my family's life! Anita led me to Jesus! Go rest high on that mountain, Brother Skip! You so deserve it! Prayers for peace and comfort for your family!

Prayers to the Smith family. I knew him through Sagemont, and KHCB, so very dear and so very loved. We shall see him again. It was wonderful listening to him on Friday's!

How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!"
Romans 10:15
My deepest condolences to the Smith family.
I had the privilege of serving with Mr. Skip Smith in the Connection Center at Sagemont church. He always had a desire and heart for people to know the Risen Jesus as their Lord and Savior. And most importantly to "obey" and trust the Lord's word. The Lord truly blessed him with much wisdom, knowledge, understanding and discernment in a way that allowed God to use him to extend His Kingdom here on earth. I am truly blessed to have known him and served along side him in my time at Sagemont church. May the peace, joy, favor, and protection of the Lord Jesus be upon your generations always. In Jesus name.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:3.
Thank you Jesus, for Mr. Skip Smith.
