To the Rose Weber family, I know to well the grief that you are still feeling from the lost of your mom and want to encourage you to continue to keep her memories in your heat where she lives on. My name is Elaine Kirby, the daughter of Pearlie Deason. Even though my mom worked for your family for years, she and Mrs. Weber became good friends. My mom passed in July 2014, so just keep your moms memories forever alive in your hearts.

Dear Webres.

It has been always a great honor for me having met my ex-coworker and now forever friend Johnny. I extend my most sincere and admiration not only to the whole Webre family and friends but also, send my most sympathetic regards with memories in honor to Mrs. ROSE WEBRE in heaven, to whom I never had the pleasure meeting her in person, but to whom I always keep in prayers. I wrote in Rose's guest book before - I referred to our visits at the lake. But I can't find it! So I'll say again what a fun lady I thought she was and how much I enjoyed our get-togethers each summer on Megunticook. I'm so glad I knew her and I'll miss her. Love, Anna Maria Parker

To Cyncee, Johnny, Ginger, and Chris, I have thought about you and your Mom many times and will never forget the time I spent at your home. Both during high school, and a few years ago when we visited Houston. Mrs. Webre was a very special lady and will always be in my heart. Sorry for your loss, she was a wonderful lady and always made me feel at home.

I have long been in awe of the kind and fiercely independent and determined character of Mrs. Webre. When Cyncee told me that her mother was taking a golf lesson AT AGE 90 it was clear to me that nothing, NOTHING got in the way of her enthusiastic embracing of life. What a wonderful woman.

To the Webre Family-

Mom and I were very saddened to hear about the passing of your mother. She was an amazing lady and, as my father said, an amazing teacher. She will be sorely missed.

To Johnny, Ginger, Cyncee and my “little” Chris. I was so very sorry and sadden to hear about the death of Mrs. Webre. While working for Mrs. Webre many long years ago; she was not only a very sweet and fair employer, but became my good friend as well. I never forgot how Chris would call me “his Jean”. I am also thankful I had a chance to visit Mrs. Webre last year, we had a nice time and she filled me in on how all of you were doing. We did not talk often, but when we did, we were glad to hear from one another. God has blessed Mrs. Webre with a good long life, but He needed another beautiful “Rose” for His Heavenly garden and He picked her. May God's love and goodness sustain you, in your lost. Love,Jean Deason, Houston.

Dear Cyncee and Ginger,

I just got the message from MGC about Rose. I see some of the Maine and Flanagan's weighing in here and just wanted to add my note. What a treat Rose was to have cocktails listening to loons on the lake. We will all miss her, but not as much as her family. Linda and I send our love and will see you in Houston and Maine.

YOUR MOM WAS AND STILL IS A WONDERFUL,GRACIOUS LADY. MANY YEARS AGO IT WAS THE LADY THAT TAUGHT ME AND ENCOURAGED ME TO PLAY GOLF. REALLY LOVED HER AS MANY OTHERS DID. SHE DID LOVE THE RASBERRY JAM, WISH I HAD SENT HER MORE. MUCH LOVE IS COMING TO ALL OF YOU FRANK AND JILL

May 3, 2012

Dear Webres - Rose Webre was likely the most alive woman I'll ever meet, a happy and loving force majeure. I am so sad for your loss. Rose and Jack Webre were icons of my youth, appearing to me to be the ideal couple who so enjoyed each other, their many friends, their children and friends of their children - I know they were two of my Mother's favorite people, too. The whole Webre family was like that to me, just incredibly nice people all. I am grateful to have met Rose and your Dad and all of you.

Dear Webres,
Dave and I just adored Rose Flanagan Webre. She taught Dave in the early Camden School system. She played the piano all evening at Dave's 40th birthday party at Montgomery House. We loved seeing her at lake Megunticook and we loved seeing her golf at Megunticook golfclub and we found very precious, the little bag of tomatoes we found by the kitchen door the last part of summer from the Rockland family garden.
What a beautiful woman!

Dave and I send our love and blessings to you all and we will see you in Camden this summer.

"A heart that loves remains forever young." Johnny, Chris, Cyncee, and Ginger, your mother was given so much love from her many siblings, and relatives she manifested love to all. I'm certain your dad, and all in heaven, including Father Joubert, were there to greet her. What a marvelous reunion that will never end. She is at peace and will watch over all. Dearest Cyncee, Ginger, Johnny, Chris and family,

I think Rose was one of the GREATEST ladies I have ever had the pleasure to know. I used to love it when I would ask her "how are you?" and she would reply happily "I'm elegant!" And SHE WAS! She was beautiful in every way and she made everyone around her feel special, loved and welcomed in her home. I loved her smile and her twinkle. She will live forever in our memories and in all the stories. She was so proud of her family and now heaven is much more beautiful and ELEGANT because SHE has arrived. Love to you all and God Bless YOU.

Dear Johnny & Debra, Chris & Lisa, Cyncee, Ginger & Dick,

I'm not sure you could have selected a photo that better captures so much of your mom: her warmth and engaging smile, her amazing energy, her lust for life, nature and the simple pleasures it provides, and of course, her red hair & Irish...you just don't get much more Irish than "Rose Flanagan". I will long treasure fond memories of her , a beautiful, vibrant, gracious lady, often spontaneous, guided by a strong moral compass and an ever-present philosophy/attitude I rremember from our childhood: that there is always a "lesson" to be learned from almost every situation. Mostly I will remember her deep devotion to God, her church and to her beloved family. May she rest in peace and be granted a swift journey Home....
With our love & condolences,
Dub & Gayna
