I know you already know how much I love your parents and you. My friendship with Patricia gave me more fun and fond memories than you know.
Just a few months ago, I got off the bus on the Ridge and walked down Leverington Ave to go home. On the way down I wondered how many millions of times I had walked up and down that hill. When I started up Wilde and passed the "steps to nowhere", I flashed back to the thousands of times Trish and I waited on those steps for your father to come home from work. He'd make the turn and stop and we would climb into the back seat for the ride up Wilde down Ripka then to his usual parking spot on Mansion where we all got out of the car and went to our respective homes for dinner.
As I walked up Wilde, I thought how he never seemed annoyed; never said it was dumb (which in retrospect it kind of was). He always seemed glad to see us and always made us feel like it was great fun to give and get a two block ride in a car - which it actually was for me since my father didn't have a car.
It was a privilege to know him.

Dear Catherine & Family,
Our Fondest memory of Bob (Poppy) was when our daughter Cindy and Bob Jr. got engaged. We were vacationing in O.C., N.J and there was a knock on the door and this very handsome Irish man was holding a boom box with his young son Dennis and singing Danny Boy. Our family has been blessed to have known this wonderful man.
God Bless,
Jim & Jean Pellegrino
