Wesley Victor Lammi Jr.

Wesley Victor Lammi Jr., age 71, of Oscoda, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022 with his family by his side.
He was born in Ferndale, to the late Wesley Victor and Helen Rose (Yager) Lammi Sr. Wesley graduated from Oscoda Area High School in 1969. He was a business owner in Oscoda for 45 years, operating Block and Bottle, The Red Barn and The Dam Store with his family.
Wesley had a number of hobbies and interests that included fishing, hunting, golfing, going to the casino, walking the beach, watching game shows, canoeing down the AuSable River, vacationing, cruising in his 1969 Camaro, making beef jerky and cutting meat and was a huge food connoisseur, but most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, John (Karen) Lammi of Pentwater, Janice (Dave) Kelsey of Traverse City, Jeff Lammi of Traverse City, and James Clute of Oscoda, and their mother, Lennie Tregear; step-son, Joe (Yvette) Dreen of Fenton; brother, Robert (Stephanie) Lammi of Oscoda; sister, Karen (Alan) Usler of Oscoda; brothers-in-law, John Bailey and Scott Parent; and grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Lammi, Isaac and Emily Kelsey, William and Jason Drean and Gabriel and Makaila Sisneros. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and loved by so many friends in the community.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife, Marilyn Bailey; sister, Carole Parent; and infant sister, Leslie Lammi.
