William Dottle Obituary
Lafayette - William L. Dottle, 73 of Lafayette passed away at 6pm Monday June 18th at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette. He was born January 10,1945 in Remington to the late Harold and Joene Harris Dottle. William served with the US Army from 1964 to 1966. He also served in the National Guard from 1970 to 1995 at which time he retired.. William retired from both Landis-Gyr and City Bus. He was a member of the American Legion. William is survived by wife Sandra Elsea-Emery.
Also surviving are his step children Laura (John) Rhode of Delphi, Jane Tanksley, companion Brad of Lafayette, Scott (Kristy) Emery of Lafayette, Melody Kyburz of Lafayette and Lori (Mike) Grimes of Avon, step grandchildren Kain Emery of Lafayette, Kierra Grimes of Avon, Tori Emery of Lafayette, Kendall Kyburz of West Lafayette and Ashlyn (Ryan) Sandbach of Brownsburg, Mindy Warthan , Sandra Warthan, Dylan Graves, John Graves Jr. Chloea Graves, Nicole Horlacher , Alana Larson, Randy, Carl, & Micheal Tanksley. Great Grandchildren Nikeela Edwards, DeShawn Miller, NaTyla Warthan, Shadow Rhode, Wesley Corbin, Trusella Clark, Colin Tanksley, Wesley Boyne, Kyler, and Keelie Willhoitt, Knoah Horlacher, Noah Hime, Rowan and Gavin Sandbach; preceded in death by a step-son, John Graves and his favorite, Aunt Helen Hartlep.
Memorial Services will be held in the Chapel at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens on Thursday June 28th at 2pm with Pastor William Miller officiating. Friends may call from 1pm until the time of service. Military rites by American Legion Post 11 will begin the memorial service at 2pm. Entombment will follow at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens

Dear papaw,
I'm writing this knowing your either watching or in some way you know what I'm going to say, but I'm going to say it anyways. I am sorry you didn't get to physically see Wesley..... I was too little too late. But I know spiritually you did and that still makes me happy. But I am so sad when I realized we never had any pictures together, or any I found. But all I need is your memory and i have that. I will carry that on and tell Wesley all about you and Daddy. I love you very much and I will miss you very much. I'm having a very hard time trying to cope, but I will get through it, I will do so knowing you'd want the best for me. Love always Chloe.
