Charles Caliendo Obituary

Caliendo, Charles C. Died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 1, 2011, at the age of 75. Beloved husband for 50 years of Nancy (nee Kriz). Loving and admired father of Charles (Sue) Caliendo, Craig (Dawn) Caliendo, Chris (Colleen) Caliendo, and Cary (Vanessa) Caliendo. Cherished Grandpa of Alexandra, Craig, C.J., Danielle, Christie, Cory, Marina, Christian, Michael, Macy, Gianna and Chase. Dear brother of Rita (Joel) Tiritilli and brother-in-law of Lynne (Phil) Bouzeos. Also lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, other family and many friends. Chuck was co-founder and former CEO of Caliendo-Savio Enterprises, Inc. after an 18 year sales career with Champion Products. Chuck also served as a volunteer Board Member for the Vince Lombardi Golf Classic and the Italian Invitational Golf Classic. His greatest joy was to make others laugh. Visitation Monday, December 5 at the funeral home from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 6, at 11:00 a.m. with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Chuck's name appreciated to the Wisconsin Parkinson Assn., 945 N. 12th St., Ste. 4602, Milwaukee, WI 53233 or Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 34217, Milwaukee, WI 53234-1217. "Laughter is the closest thing to the grace of God."

My Heart is Breaking as I read this from my Hospital Bed after receiving my new knee, Chuck was like a Father figure in College for me, EVERYTIME I saw him he would make me Laugh and Cry and I remember I couldn't wait to see him again!
