Dear Family,
Jean Gettelman will be deeply missed. Jean was my neighbor for many years of my life. She lived across the street from my parents for many years, and I remember when her granddaughter Amber came to visit the summer I moved in - she was the first friend I made. Jean was so welcoming to me as a neighbor and she was always a joy to talk to. She will be missed.

To the Daughters & Sons of Jean,

We wish to express our sympathy on the death of your Mother. Norma will miss the opportunity of their telephone conversations and their friendly visits. She appreciates the gift given to her in remembrance in Jean, her Friend.

Jean was so kind and sharing! Gail appreciates the iris bulbs Jean had given her and always enjoys the beauty and thinks of her when they bloom in the spring.

We know she now rests in the arms of her Lord.

To the daughters & sons,
You all have my deepest sympathies.
I live in Dallmann Village & I will miss your Mom very much. While we were not real close we used to look for each other when I would walk my dogs. Jean was always pleasant & had the nicest twinkle in her eyes. She gave me some iris bulbs several years ago which I treasure. They will always be a remembrance of her love for flowers!!
I also have to commend you for the care you provided for her the last few years. You are all angels!
I am sorry that I could not attend her service. I presently am unable to walk without a walker & cannot drive.
