Ronald G. Pezze

Pezze, Ronald G. Ronald G Pezze, 84, passed away Friday, October 5, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota after a brief illness. He was born on July 4, 1934, to John and Amelia (Veretto) Pezze in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and grew up in Sheffield, Massachusetts. Ronald was a veteran of the Navy serving during the Korean War. He attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering and worked as the chief engineer for the Milwaukee Spring Company and then as a resort/restaurant owner with his wife in Iron River, WI. Ron was a caring and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors and growing vegetables and roses with his incredible green thumb. He is survived by; wife of over 60 years, Judy; five children, Mark (Sherry) Pezze, PeggySue (Scott) Janigo, Ronald G (Rosanne) Pezze Jr, John (Barbara) Pezze, Gary (Rosalind) Pezze; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two siblings, Larry (Nancy) Pezze of Alford, MA and Nancy Gandolfo, Canaan, CT; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. At Ron's request, an open house "Celebration of Life" will be in the afternoon of Saturday, October 27, 2018 beginning at 2:00 pm at the Birch Grove Campground in Iron River, Wisconsin whose owners, Rick and Kayla, were so kind to Ron and Judy and always made them feel like family. A special thank you from Ron's family to the doctors and nursing staff at St. Luke's Hospital 2-West for their kindness and compassion during Ron's stay.
