Sarah, boys and their families: Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Our fondest memories were the times we spent bowling and going out dancing at the Moose Lodge. Barry was always up for the party and made you feel good with his wonderful smile and laugh. As families do we all go in different directions and lose touch, but everytime we saw you guys it was always the same, the smile and laugh were there and it was like no time had passed. We will miss him very much. Love you guys, Dian and Bob

My condolences and request for God's blessings and peace on Sarah and family. I attended their wedding after we graduated from FCHS (1963). Great people who will always be remembered as "youngsters" from Fern Creek.

To family, Barry was more than family he was a great friend. When we were with Barry, we knew life was to be celebrated. Barry always had that smile and laugh to get the good times rolling. His good bye to me was, as usual “We need to do this more often!”
And his greeting as always, will be “Hey boy, what’s going on?”
We all wanted to keep him here with us, but did not want him to suffer any longer. We can find peace in knowing he is not in pain and he is in a better place.

I always knew I’d get a hug from Barry and a huge smile. He would find something to tease me about. We loved being with Sarah and Barry and always knew we’d have a good time. I’ll always smile when I think about Barry.
