Robert Byrne Obituary

Rev. Robert (Bob) Byrne Father Robert Byrne passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Born and raised in Long Beach, "Father Bob" had served as pastor at Holy Innocents Parish, and later at St. Cyprian Parish. Survivors include his sister, Mary J. Smith (James); nephews, Michael J. (Traci), David M., Robert B. (Connie), and James, Jr. (Leslie); and extended family. Funeral Mass at St. Cyprian Church, 4714 Clark Ave., Long Beach, at 11:00am Wednesday, July 20. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the American Cancer Society in Fr. Byrne's memory. Please sign the guest book at www.presstelegram.com/obituaries.
