Phenix City, AL- Dahlia Juanita Webster, 88 of Phenix City, AL passed away on Thursday August 4, 2011 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am EST on Monday August 8, 2011 at Vance Memorial Chapel with Reverend Alan Griffith officiating. A private Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Mrs. Webster was born August 13, 1922 in Headland, AL to the late Moses Walker and the late Sarah Greene Walker. She was a loving, devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was totally devoted to her family
Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband Charlie Frank Webster and grandson Joel David Webster, Jr.
Surviving her departure with cherished memories are her children Dixie Webster Peterson, husband Rickey, Schuyler Webster Hazelwood, husband Larry and Joel David Webster Sr; grandchildren Heath, Haleigh and Heather Peterson, Charlie Frank Webster II, Victor Webster, Kristi H. Davis, husband Keith, Dahlia O'Shields, husband Andrew and Cetan Colt Webster; twelve great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to her long time physician, Dr, Michael L. Aikens and to caregivers, Kendrika Canady, Trina Smith, Cleshawn Upshaw and Rosie Oates.
