Mr Brumfield was an awesome man of GOD!!!!! He was my Principal first and foremost. Class of 1975, I will never forget his kind heart and willing to give you another chance when you got caught doing wrong. Lord have Mercy on his SOUl!! I joined the Masonic Order and boy oh boy when i found out he was involved in the Order I was just outdone. His wife Alfreda is a very special lady and I love her dearly. She was very helpful to me when I needed her to booked my room for the Grand Session. Mr Brumfield take your rest that you so very well earned. God Only Takes The Best!!! You are ABSENT from the body..... but you are PRESENT with our God!!!! The Class of 1975 extends our Condolences to Mrs. Alfreda Brumfield and the entire family. Mr. Brumfield was a wonderful and inspiring person.
I had the great opportunity of having him as my high school principal at Alcee' Fortier Sr. High School and cooperative principal at Paul L. Dunbar Elementary School during my student teaching.

He was a wonderful man who inspired and encouraged me to be my best and never settle for mediocrity! I am so grateful that I had the privilege to work closely with Mr. Brumfield during my senior year at Fortier! He touched many! (Fortier Class of '73 President)
