Allison Fuller Obituary

Published by Vancouver Sun and/or The Province from Sep. 27 to Sep. 28, 2008.

FULLER (WELLS) Allison Danielle October 21, 1983 - September 19, 2008 It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to our little munchkin Allie. She passed away suddenly but peacefully at home with her mother by her side. Truly an inspiration to all who knew her, she was a hero in her valiant fight with cancer. She was much loved and will be greatly missed by her husband and best friend Jason, her mother Liz, her sister Lucy, in-laws Ann and Al, grandmothers Jackie and Margaret, aunts, uncles and cousins both in Canada and England and by her many many dear friends. Allison was predeceased by her father Lee Wells. She will live on in all our hearts. Allison was a fun-loving, compassionate and perceptive little soul. She had a passion for dance and music, she was an awesome Rock Band vocalist. She loved organizing - everything and everybody. She enjoyed Camp Goodtimes and was thrilled when she was old enough to become an L.I.T. and then a counselor. Allison was a Girl Guide leader and she volunteered with and raised funds for charities that were close to her heart. A graduate of Douglas College, she enjoyed working as a legal administrative assistant. Allison's courage, kindness, friendship and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her. We would like to give heartfelt thanks to all the doctors and nurses who cared for Allison during the past 20 years, especially those at B.C. Children's Hospital and the B.C. Cancer Agency. Special thanks to Dr. Meg Knowling and Dr. John Edworthy. In lieu of flowers Allison would wish for either donations to The James Fund for Neuroblastoma Research, 625 Whitaker St #4, Peterborough, ON. K9H 7L5; or a contribution at an In Honour Blood Donation Clinic - for information call 1 888 2 DONATE. A Celebration of Life will take place at Meadow Gardens Golf Club, 19675 Meadow Gardens Way, Pitt Meadows, at 2:00 pm, Sunday October 5th. "Weep not for me my friends for I have loved, laughed and I have danced the night away."

Liz, it is with such sadness that Judi & I send you our condolances. We can not find the words, but our thoughts are with you.
I often think of Lee... and I clearly remember the couple of times he had talked to me about Allison and her bravery. I guess he now has his Allison with him once again, that will make him truly happy.
Please take care, Rick.

Dear Allison,
I write to you as a person l never met but seemed to know you intimately through part of your family Al and Kim.. The words used to describe your journey remind me of how special you are and the joy that you bring to all around you. Even in spirit you are still making a difference and l know you are truly missed by the words used in our day to day conversations. When they speak your name, know that they are singing praise, dancing and rejoicing about what a special person you are. I spoke to my kids yesterday about you, on why it is important to make a difference and the courage it takes..
God Bless
