Catherine M. Orvosh, 91, of Wickliffe, Ohio, formerly of Clarksburg, died Tuesday, Dec 30, 2003, at Altercare of Mentor Nursing Facility.

Daughter of Antonio and Pauline Sneider, she was born Feb. 12, 1912, in Fulton Run. Mrs. Orvosh lived most of her life in Clarksburg. She was a machine operator for Federal Labs and a member of Church of the Good Shepherd. She had lived in Wickliffe for the past 18 years. Surviving are three children, Frank Vyka, of Lorain, Ohio, Richard Vyka, of Yuba City, Calif., and Janet Setlock, of Wickliffe; Also surviving are three brothers: Leonard Maday of Homer City; Robert Maday, Clune and Samuel Maday, York; a sister, Cecelia Maday of Highland Heights, Ohio; Also 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands; Frank Vyka, Stanley Salva and Mike Orvosh; four brothers: Adolph, Edward, Stanley and Henry, and five sisters: Anita Salva, Bertha Casmiro, Elizabeth Mudrich, Blanche Hall and Veronica Whetsel. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd. Interment was in St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana, with Robinson-Lytle, Indiana in charge.
