Christopher George Frizzell loved camping, hunting, fishing, especially with his boys and in the quiet beauty of Greer.
He sang karaoke, belting out Charlie Daniels' "Long Haired Country Boy," Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places" and occasionally something by Madonna, complete with surprising dance moves.
Chris loved the Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Suns and Arizona State University Sun Devils. He loved to laugh, even at himself. Most of all, he loved his family.
Chris passed away on Dec. 6, 2022. He was 51. His was a life well-lived.
Chris was born in Tempe, Arizona, on Nov. 7, 1971, to George and Katherine Frizzell. Born the son of two teachers, summers were full of adventures as the family would hop in the camper and explore California beaches and amusement parks. He also loved cabin time in Greer, AZ. Another thing that Chris loved most was teasing his big sister. He graduated from McClintock High in 1991 and after obtaining his college degree, became a well-respected and award-winning salesman.
Chris married the love of his life, Lucinda, in 1999, and delighted in the arrival of their two sons, Gage in 2004, followed by Breydon in 2007.
Chris loved being a dad. He would spend every moment he could with his sons when he was not working. He taught them how to fish, work on house/car repairs, and coached them in soccer and football. His sons were the pride of his life. Chris also enjoyed spending time with his dad as he would pick him up on a sales call just so he could enjoy the drive and they could spend time together.
Chris could fix anything, and it was one of the ways he brought joy to others, jumping in to make repairs or doing anything else he could do to help. He will be missed, always.
Chris is survived by his wife, Lucinda Frizzell; his children, Gage Frizzell and Breydon Frizzell, his father George Frizzell, sister Carrie Frizzell Collins and husband Matt Collins; nephews Shawn Collins and Cort Collins, and niece Sabrina Collins. Also surviving Chris are Lucinda's family that Chris loved very much - mother in law Pam Johnson, sister in law Amanda Johnson, and father in law Warren Johnson.
A celebration of Chris' life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, Arizona.

I am so very saddened to hear of Chris's passing. I met him when he was working with ADT as the sales rep and he helped me with my many clients.
He was such a blessing , the calm in the storm.
I am just so heartbroken for his family and friends.
A real Angel on earth.
Our deepest sympathy is with all of you.

There was never a time, when I was with Chris, that I didnt have a smile on my face. Chris was so funny, and more importantly a kind, honest, hardworking man who loved his family. I never thought I would be in tears, in my lifetime, because we lost our Chris. Those tears are changing into smiles again, everytime I think of him. Thats how I will honor him....keeping those memories. God be with Cinda, Gage, Braeden on your loss along with the rest of the Johnson and the Frizzell family.
