I was shocked to hear the news that George had died. He treated me at Southampton for many years for Candida and stress. One of the kindest men I have ever met - he always went that extra mile! RIP

George was my Dr for 13 years.
He is the only Dr who listened and understood and l was shocked to hear of his untimely death.
Surely people like George last forever. He will be sorely missed by many. I feel privileged to have known such a great man in the field of Complementary medicine and human kindness.

Dr Lewith was SUCH a wonderful man. He helped me and my brother identify and manage allergies and we always looked forward to our trips to Southampton to see him, as children and later as adults. He made such a difference to the lives of his patients and I feel blessed that he had such a positive impact on my life. The world was a better place for him being in it. Sending condolences to his family and colleagues.

I was a patient for 18 years, following 5 years of debilitating ME. George started me off on the road to recovery - now leading the life I was intended for and no doubt without George's persistence this would not be the case ...so sad at such an early age.....very sorry to hear this news and for the family.
