I remember George as being the big nice guy that lived down the street from me in Indianola: On behalf of all my family, and our classmates from Indianola High School, we will keep George in our memories!! I am so Sorry to hear about Coach Tupman, I can still see him walking the halls of Craigmont High School. He was really a kind hearted person, and he truly cared about the kids. Coach you will be MISSED.

I am at a loss for words!! I have known George since we were babies-I have pictues!! Our Mothers' even had the same first name -Inez, & were best friends. Even tho I haven't seen George in a few years, we have stayed in touch & I & my family will have all of George's family in our prayers.

George was an inspiration to so many that knew him. He was a great mentor and friend to so many students and fellow teachers. He would always make you feel like you were part of his family. I am so deeply sadden and like many others, feel the loss of a great man.

Coach Tupman was a joy to have as a homeroom teacher. He had a kind and caring heart and a great sense of humor. Having wonderful teachers like him helped me choose education as my career choice. He had a positive impact on hundreds of students.

My husband Bob and I have you in our thoughts as you go through this difficult time. George and I taught together for years and he and my husband discussed sports and the stock market. As a matter of fact, George was instumental in getting us started in the stock market. He was a dear friend. We will miss him.
