Hadden Michael "Bugg" Shifflett

Hadden Michael "Bugg" Shifflett, 17, of Scottsville, Virginia, passed away on April 8, 2025, after a courageous battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Born on June 22, 2007, in Charlottesville, Virginia, Hadden was a beacon of love and kindness, known for his shy yet incredibly sweet and loving nature.

Hadden was a proud graduate of Monticello High School, achieving the honor of being the first graduate of the class of 2025. His dreams stretched far as he aspired to become a famous YouTuber, a goal that reflected his creative spirit and charismatic personality.

Among his many passions, Hadden cherished moments spent with his loved ones, always ensuring his sister Devin knew his affection with his parting words, "I love you, Brat." watching anime, and collecting knives. A highlight of his life was meeting his favorite artist, Jelly Roll, during a memorable meet and greet. He had a unique sense of humor that could light up any room and a rule of never eating hot dogs, which always brought a smile to those around him.

Hadden leaves behind a loving family: his mother, Pamela Shifflett; his father, James Deane; sister, Devin Morris; brother, Thurston Shifflett; nieces, Catherine Shifflett and NovaLee Hoover; and nephews, Daniel Shifflett and Easton Hoover; His Uncle, Wesley Shifflett And His two children. He was preceded in death by his grandad, Ronnie Shifflett, and a special friend, Casey Walts.

Hadden's memory will forever resonate in the hearts of his family and friends, who promise to hold him in their hearts until they can hold him in their arms once again. His legacy of kindness and resilience will continue to inspire all who knew him.
