Ian FIGUEIRA Obituary
1967-2013
On August 15, 2013 Ian Figueira passed away aged 45. He was the son of Christina (nee Campbell-Wong) and the late Carl Figueira and brother to Kim. He will also be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles, Shervyn (Ruthine), Winston (Desiree), Leland (Angela), Judie, Ismay (Wellington), Hazel (Norbert) and Ann as well as numerous cousins. A memorial service will be held at Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., DDO, 514-685-3344, on Saturday, October 5 at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.

Having not heard from my dear friend in awhile, I just googled his name... I am incredibly saddened by this news. I wish to extend my most sincere sympathies to the Figueira family. Ian was an amazing friend, a beautiful soul and the most caring man I have ever met. May he rest in peace and be surrounded by his dad and loved ones, and may he remain safely tucked away in our hearts forever. xox

My sincere condolences to Christina and Kim for their loss. Ian and I shared many memories through our high school and college lives and although as adults we had become separated by the distance from Quebec City to the West Island we remained in touch and spoke quite regularly. I will remember him always for the times he called my mom to make sure she was OK while I was away from home and for his kindness and joy when we were together. Ian, my friend, you will be missed! Rest in Peace.....

Our sincere condolences. Just yesterday I told Donna , we have not talked to Ian for a while. I tried calling him today to share good news I had with him and found out he was no longer with us. We knew Ian from our days working at Bourbon Street. We quickly became friends. He had such a good heart and was always there to help us. We shared a passion for music him. We will miss him dearly.
