J. Williams Obituary

J. Cliff Williams J. Cliff Williams, 90, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. EDT Friday, May 15, 2009, at Culley's MeadowWood Timberlane Road Chapel (850-893-4177), with interment to follow in Culley's MeadowWood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. EDT in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 37130, Tallahassee, FL 32315, or Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308. Cliff was a retired supervisor with Chevron, U.S.A. He was a member of Harry Jackson Lodge No. 314 F&AM, Lynn Haven, Fla.; Marzuq Temple of Tallahassee; Shaddai Temple, York Rite Bodies and Scottish Rite Bodies in Panama City, Fla.; and Crawfordville Shrine Club. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Cliff is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lassie H. Williams; a daughter, Marcia Fenn of Tallahassee; brother, Cortez Williams of Tallahassee; sister, Eunice White of Pensacola, Fla.; three half-brothers, Jerry Williams and Luther Williams, both of Jacksonville, and Steve Williams of Honolulu; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Williams, and his sister, Gladys Ware.

Mr Williams had a very good life. Mr Williams is now is at peace and without pain. Mr Williams will always be remembered by his family and friends. I was blessed to knowing Mr Williams for the last seven years.
