James Carson (JC) Broadrick Jr.
With heavy hearts, we are sad to announce that JC died peacefully on August 12, 2021 at the age of 79. JC was born in Nashville, TN on September 9, 1941. JC is survived by his wonderful wife, Colette Broadrick (nee Klosowski). He was a loving father to four kids, Jay Broadrick Jr. (Rebecca Broadrick), Diane Burden, Wally Broadrick (Sabrina Broadrick), and Amy Hurd (Jim Hurd). He is preceded by his loving parents, James Carson Broadrick Sr. and Dorothy Claudine Broadrick (nee Conquest), and his brother-in-law Gregory Klosowski.

He is survived by his brother, Larry Wayne Broadrick (Margie Broadrick), his sister, Katrina Upton, his sister-in-laws Judy Chattin (David Chattin) and Kathleen Klosowski, and his brother-in-law Richie Klosowski.

His is also survived by many grandchildren that loved him dearly: Matthew Broadrick (Alana Broadrick), Danielle Broadrick (JayR Harper), Chad Burden, Kristin Fisher (Dom Fisher), Carson Broadrick (Megan Broadrick), Breanna Schram (Ben Schram), Josh Hurd (Breanna Hurd), Kaycee Casteel (Ben Casteel), and Tucker Hurd. He also had five great-grandchildren: Mason Burden, Kobe Harper, Cooper Hurd, Emma Hurd, and Anna Kate Casteel.

JC is survived by many other nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

JC was a police officer serving the Metro Nashville area for 31 years, and devoted himself to protecting his community. He also served in the military for 2 years.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 17 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Wednesday, August 18 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the City Road United Methodist Church in Madison, TN. The funeral will be on August 18 at 11:00 AM at the church as well, and the burial following at Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
