James Edward Yarnall, age 56, of Lopez, Pa., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2016 at the Guthrie Memorial Hospital in Towanda, Pa.

Jim was born in Lansdale, Pa., on Nov. 7, 1960, the son of the late Edward F. and Joyce L. Horner Yarnall. His family moved to Sullivan County in 1964 and he graduated from the Sullivan County High School a member of the class of 1978. He married the former Tina M. Ruane of Laceyville on Sept. 22, 2007.

Jim began working at the Benton Foundry and was currently working for Proctor and Gamble for the past 16 years.

Jim was a loving spouse and enjoyed bow and rifle deer hunting and also enjoyed golfing. He was very active with the PA Bowhunter's Association and helped for many years at the Bowfestival every September in Forksville, Pa. He and Tina enjoyed spending time together and making road trips. He was very involved with the Mildred Fire and Ambulance Association, where was an EMT and was also Ambulance Captain for many years.

Surviving are his spouse, Tina at home; two sisters: Sue Ann Yarnall of Mildred, Pa., and Amy (Joe) Mayer of Maytown, Pa.; father and mother-in-law, Jack and Ann Marie Ruane of Laceyville, Pa.; sister-in-law, Kelly (Jim) Kulsicavage of Tunkhannock, Pa.; four nieces and nephews, Hunter and Elaina Kulsicavage and Katherine and William Mayer; and also aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous special friends and his bow festival family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, Pa., with the Rev. Ronald L. Dyer, pastor of Redeemer Church of Christ, Dushore, Pa., officiating.

Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11 at the Homer Funeral Home. The Mildred Fire and Ambulance Association members will pass in review at 6 p.m. on Friday evening at the conclusion of the calling hours.

The family will provide the flowers and ask that memorial contributions be directed to the Mildred Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 74, Mildred, PA 18632
