Can´t believe it will be 4 years since you left us. Warren continues to ensure Kimmie is being taken good care of. Dan, Kayla and I have continued to help out with Kimmie and maintaining the house for Warren. You can relate to this, Warrens is a handful, lol. We all miss you, but know you´re in a much better place than us.

Often recall all the times I watched Joan be Jesus with skin on to her church community and her volunteer efforts on many fronts. She loved life and all living beings. She had a special place in her heart for anyone hurting, especially those with a lifetime of struggles in learning how to navigate loss and pain. Will always be someone I want to emulate.

When I thank the Lord for family and friends, Joan is always on my mind. Every time my Adult Fellowship class at church recognizes the Gideons (we have several men and women involved here in GA) I can see Joan and her sweet face. So blessed to serve with her and to share happy times with family. Kim was a delight to teach in Sunday School. Blessings to the Darby's.

Warren and Kim, Am so sorry to learn of the passing of Joan. I remember how she looked forward to the hot dogs at the National Night Out picnic that Neighborhood Watch of CNY held each August. Joan was so caring and just a sweet lady.

Warren, As you well know, Joan was the most gentle, caring, humble, genuine women around. I wish I could have even a bit of those qualities and carry myself as she did.
