Joan Nina Goldberg

Goldberg, Joan Nina -- of Delray Beach, Fl., daughter of Ida Kaiser Dorman and Louis Dorman, died peacefully on September 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Joan's father, Louis Dorman, was the chairman of Dorman's Endeco Cheese, founded by his father Nathan in 1896. Joan was raised in Brooklyn, New York, where she met the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Goldberg. Bob was the president of THC, a revolutionary hotel and restaurant tableware company founded by his father Abraham Goldberg. Joan and Bob were married 57 years until Bob's death in 2010. Joan was also predeceased by her cherished brothers Avram and William and by her beloved sister Tema Dorman Ackerman. Together Joan and Bob had a wonderful life and had four children, Barry (Shira), Ira (Rita), Ellen, and Jimmy (Cathi). Joan is survived by her children, seven grandchildren and two beautiful great-granddaughters. Joan was also an adored aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend to so many.
