John Joseph Facelli Sr.

JOHN JOSEPH "Joe” FACELLI, SR., 92, of Memphis, died on March 10, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 13, 2008, at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church, 203 S White Station Rd, Memphis, TN, on Thursday, March 13, 2008. His wife of 68 years, Margaret Louise “Weezie” Facelli, preceded him in death, as well as his olderst son, John Joseph “Johnny” Facelli, Jr. He leaves three sons, Lawrence S. “Larry” (Pat), Rock Hill, SC; Terrence “Terry” (Penny), and Robert A. “Tony” (Lillie), both of Memphis; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Mr. Facelli was an automobile mechanic and worked for Madison Cadillac (Southern Motors) for more than 30 years; prior to that he worked at Verner’s Garage. He was a member of Saint Louis Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests remembrances be sent to Saint Jude Children’s Hospital or Madonna Day School.
