REV. JOSEPH J. ZINGARO

We were so sorry to hear of Fr. Joseph's passing. Though we know he has gone home to God, it is still difficult for the loved ones left behind. Fr. Joseph, and his family, friends and congregation are in our thoughts during this difficult time. The Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth are praying for all of you, now and always.

Wonderful Pastor and a Wonderful Person and Friend

Fr. Joe was the man who could get through anything and do it with a smile on his face. He just kept pushing past every obstacle. I'm forever Indebted to the faith and morals that you played such a role in helping my children become be humble adults that they are. Our favorite family vacation memories are the retreats in Vermont with you and Catherine Joanne. You will be greatly missed.

Fr. Joe, You touched soooo many peoples lives. We will never forget you. It will be hard to walk thru the hall during the bazaar and not think about you and all the wonderful memories I have there. Father Joe was our neighbor and friend growing up in Manayunk . We grew up in a different time and we all went our different ways. Seeing Father Joe over the years brought us back to good memories of family and friends. We had lots of laughs and some good cakes ,and he stayed the genuine good person that we all knew. Father Joe, you are gone too soon. You have left behind many people who valued you as a friend. You are home now. Your friend, Ann (Sienko) Sparling.

Father Joe was a simple, kind and caring priest. A priest friend of mine recently told me as I prepare to retire The best is yet to come. I pray Father Zingaro will now see the best and enjoy it. Father Francis

Father Joe was a kind and peaceful man of faith. He quietly served and shared the Lord with all in his life.
I first met and appreciated Joe when we were in Latin class together at St. John's Church in the summer of 1970 prior to our entering St. Charles Seminary. Because of his devout relationship with the Lord I asked him to be my sponsor at my confirmation at a private ceremony with Bishop Ghrahm in September 1970.
God give Father Joe eternal life and love.

Rest easy, my old friend. St. John's will never be the same. The entire parish community will miss you. I take comfort in knowing you are free from the constraints of this world and are now sitting among the angels and saints in heaven.

You will be dearly missed. Being in your presence was a true blessing. I thought for sure you would pull through this but turns out our Lord had a different plan for you. As you look down on us, we promise to be as peaceful and loving to others as you were when you were here with us. Rest In Peace and we will never forget you.

Such an inspiration, respectful and kind gentlemen. You united Assumption CYO & St John not wanted to leave behind but instead to bring together in faith & for fun times. Love & miss ya.

Fr. Joe has been with our parish for so many years that it is difficult to imagine parish life without him. He may be gone from us but he will always be with us in spirit.

Dear Father Joe, you have been so warm and gracious to me. I am not a parishioner, but you were so attentive and caring while planning and holding my parents funerals. I am eternally grateful for the privilege of knowing you. It was joyous.
