CORDELE—Funeral services for Kenneth L. "Fet" Sheffield Sr., of Cordele will be held at 2 p.m. today, November 16, 2008 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services. Interment will follow at Sunnyside Cemetery.  Mr. Sheffield, 80, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 at his residence.A native of Crisp County, he was the son of the late Simon Jackson and Martha Harriett Hobby Sheffield. Mr. Sheffield was a painting contractor and a member of Northern Heights Baptist Church.  He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kathy Sheffield.He is survived by his wife, Frances C. Sheffield of Cordele; a son and his wife, Kenny, Jr. and Harriett Sheffield of Cordele; two daughters and their husbands, Kay and Chuck Gordon of Vienna and Karla and James Parker of Warner Robins; three step-children and their spouses, Mark and Suk Harper, Russell and Sandra Harper and Rebecca and Danny Poole, all of Cordele; a brother, Rev. Bobby Sheffield and his wife, Leila of Cordele; two sisters, Eddie Raines of Cordele and Virginia Barron of Smyrna; 13 grandchildren, Amanda Clark and her husband, Michael of Hawkinsville, Alison Parker and her husband, Lance of Thomasville, Amy Sheffield of Cordele, Kristy Settles and her husband, Jason of Vienna, Kerri Morris, Courtney Gordon and Kyndal Gordon, all of Cordele, Zackery Parker of Warner Robins, Mark Harper, Jr. and his wife, Jessie of Cordele, Sandra Harper of Cordele, Ashley McClelland and her husband, Eric of Ocilla, Travis Harper of Hilton Head, and Matthew Harper of Cordele; and nine great-grandchildren, Ansley Clark, Lola Parker, Kimberly Harper, A. J. Harper, Brooklyn Harper, William Harper, Madison Harper, Chelsea McClelland and Dakota McClelland.
