Krista Leann Clements
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Krista Leann Clements, 39, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, Feb. 28, 2021, in her home in Nashville.
Krista was born July 29, 1981, to Donald and Mary (Stoeckly) Clements in La Crosse, and graduated from Holmen High School in 1999. Her smile always beamed bright, but never more than when she was engaged in something she loved and caring for animals would have come at the top of that list. In 2002, Krista founded K-9 Connection, where she helped thousands of dogs ingratiate themselves into loving families. Krista was also passionate about singing and dancing and she took part in a number of ballroom dance competitions.
Krista is survived by her parents, Don and Mary Clements; her five siblings, Julie (Jamie) Nelson, Cheryl (Bob) Weber, David (Gretchen) Clements, John (Bonnie) Clements, Larry (Vicki) Clements; and her many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as aunts and uncles.
Krista has joined her brother, Steven Clements, in heaven.
A celebration of life is planned from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. for Sunday, April 11, at the Holmen American Legion. If you feel inclined to send any cards or flowers in memoriam of Krista, they can be sent to Don and Mary Clements.

Krista spent many years with our family and dogs. She was an exceptional trainer and more importantly, a kind, sincere person. We just learned of her passing today and are saddened. Her spirit carries on with those of us dedicated to loving our pets.

Krista saved my dog Sammy´s life. He was an aggressive dog toward other dogs and a bit unruly when it came to humans. Someone from a dog park here in Nashville introduced me to her, she gave me her card, and I gave her a call a couple days later. I was skeptical but she had Sammy eating out of the palm of her hand within about 15 minutes if her first session. Sammy was able to be off leash and functioning normal society. I unfortunately lost him to cancer only a couple years later but what she did for him was amazing. Thank you, Krista.
