I am having difficulty dealing with the loss of a great friend and life long buddy.
I hope that his spirit will always watch over you and your family as he did in this earthly life.

Lawrence was a BIG man with a BIGGER heart. He loved his family, friends, co-workers, jobs and volunteeer activities. We first met years ago at Sherwood Park RCMP and our professional paths crossed again at the Commissionaires. Lawrence was a true gentleman. I will always have a smile on my face when I think of Lawrence.

Lawrence met me when I was new to the world of professional human services and in 1993, began to be my professional Mentor. He enjoyed our candid chat, mostly 'cause we cussed a lot, I think. He was funny, caring, passionate about the uselessness of turtles on the job, a true family man, and a man of character, good will and principle. I shall miss him dearly. Good bye dear friend, good bye dear Mentor.

Please accept my condolences at this difficult time. I first met Lawrence when he started volunteering for Victim Services. Lawrence was a gentle, loving person who always gave from the heart. Although it was my job to help "train" Lawrence, I can truly say that he turned out to be the teacher/mentor. I learnt alot from him. I am keeping you all in my prayers.
