Lawrence represented me in 1981 to 1985 as a was hit by a truck on my Motorcycle head on in May of 1981. He was caring, compassionate , straight forward and tough. I will always remember the life advice he gave me when he finished my settlement with the insurance company. Those words stuck with me as I was only 25 at the time. I am now 62. He wasn´t just my lawyer, he was my saviour. Rest in peace Lawrence. Tom Penna

So many cherished memories of family dinners at my grandparents' house and skiing at The Peaks. I'll never forget the joy of getting to watch him and my dad on stage jamming with the band and having the time of their lives. Uncle Laurie was my most cherished and beloved uncle and I will miss him with all of my heart.

We recall many fun trips traveling with Lawrence (Lori darlin’) fondly referred to by his adoring wife, Margorie .
I recall his fondness for cabbage rolls and love of Jazz.
His broad smile and sense of humor were a winning combination. We loved sharing time and seeing sights with them in several foreign countries with the IATL members.
He will be missed but never forgotten.
Goodby to a legal legend!
We are thinking of Margi with love and care.

My thoughts and prayers, to family and friends during this time of sorrow. I worked with Mr. Mandel back in the 80's at Thomson Rogers, he had a great sense of humor, a no nonsense kind of man which I loved. May you find comfort, knowing he is watching over all of you from his beautiful serenity free from pain.

We fondly remember him and Marjorie as good friends and companions at various IATL meetings. A sad loss...

Marjorie, Larry was one of our favorite people in the Academy. Marti and I so enjoyed traveling with you both and have missed seeing you in recent years. He was the best, fun and brilliant. The world has lost a bright star.

Our heartfelt condolences to you, Marjorie, and to your family. We have fond memories of being with you both at IATL meetings and on international trips. What a gem the world has lost. A man of deep intellect, indomitable spirit and goodwill. May his memory be forever a blessing.
