Lois Mae Lindblom

Lois Mae Lindblom April 4, 1932 ~ March 30, 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce Lois Mae Lang Lindblom has joined her husband and the love of her life, Jim Lindblom, in heaven just days shy of her 91st birthday. Lois was born to Gus and Sophie Lang on the farm where her family homesteaded near Morris, MN, and grew up alongside her five siblings, Elmer, Irene, Russell, Jennell, and Jean. At the age of 14, Lois noticed Jim Lindblom in church and told her brother she had met the person she wanted to marry. Not long after, Jim and Lois began their 75-year love story and were married on August 27, 1951. A day never passed without them expressing their deep and profound love for each other.

Lois is survived by her three children Naomi/Nikki (Jerry), Mary (Kevin) and Tom; her five grandchildren Beth (Heather), Katie, Christopher (Jamie), Jordan and Nicholas; and her three great-grandchildren Saffron, Violet and Riley, all of whom Lois absolutely adored. She enjoyed hosting large family gatherings and cherished every moment she was surrounded by her kids and their spouses, grandkids and their spouses, and great-grandkids. She enjoyed cooking favorite meals and playing games, but did not like to lose, sometimes playing the same game over and over until she won.

Lois's love for her family was surpassed only by her love for God. A lifelong Nazarene, Lois devoted her life to Christ and served as a church secretary, pianist and organist. She loved her church family and with her positive and social nature, the feeling was mutual. The ultimate extrovert, Lois could make conversation with anyone (even if she had to do all the talking) and quickly turned strangers into friends. Always on the go, Lois kept busy whether it was walking with her friend Gretchen before sunrise, baking her grandkids' favorite desserts, cooking for a church potluck, attending game nights or Bible study, or waiting on her "Tweety" husband hand and foot.

Lois will be sorely missed by all who knew her, but today is celebrating with Jesus and her many friends, siblings and her beloved husband who went before her. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on June 24th at Footprints Church 801 NE 194th St Ridgefield, WA.
