My sincere sympathy to all the family including her sister Lorraine. I knew them both at grade school and high school. Lynne was always "on the go" running, rather than walking, and always with a big smile for everyone. I last saw her at our 50th school reunion where she appeared much the same as I remembered her, smiling and sharing stories with friends. On that day, she was the picture of health and well-being! I think of her often these days and thank her for her friendship.

The Family:
I have only just heard about Lynne's death and find it hard to think of anyone but the sparkling lassie at the Reunion in 2007 - 50 years after I knew her as Lynne Elkins. She was a 'sparkler' then too.

My concolences to you Gerry, Lorraine, Michael and Heather and Chase and Connor.
Lynne and I were friends from Grade 1-12, and worked together after graduation. My last e-mail from her was Oct. 30/09 at which time I realized she was too sick to continue.
Her amazing spirit and energy were wonderful to witness. I never did manage to keep up with her quick way of speaking!
We will all miss her but are better for having known her.

I had the good fortune to work with Lynne for several years at BC Tel/Telus. She taught me a lot. She was a dynamo at work but always took time to listen. She left this world a better place by being such a positive part of so many lives. My condolences to all of Lynne's loved ones.

Lynne and I made contact again in 2006, just before our Lord Byng Secondary School graduating class 50-year reunion in June 2007. What a wonderful spirit she had and it was such fun to tour our High School and celebrate with the other "grads" that June. My deepest sympathy to all the family.

Our memories of Lynne go back to our years as teenagers together and then, of course, during our 6 years at Southmount.
We had hoped to attend the service but unfortunately, someone from our congregation has been Promoted to Glory and, it would seem, the service is the same day.
Be assured of our love and prayers!

Please accept my sincere condolences in the loss of a great lady. I had the privilege of working with Lynne numerous times over her career at TELUS/BC TEL. I think she was the original "multi-tasker"! I don't think I've met anyone else who could accomplish so much, so fast, in so little time, all the while maintaining her sunny smile and happy disposition. I will carry lovely memories of Lynne. Take care and God bless you all.
