Mark Rineer

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mark Wyatt Rineer, who passed away peacefully at his home on March 5, 2025, after a long battle with lung cancer.

Mark was a man of sharp wit and a tough exterior, never one to sugarcoat his thoughts. But to those who truly knew him, beneath that roughness was a deeply loyal and loving heart. He was fiercely devoted to his family and closest friends, and his presence will be greatly missed.

Born on November 20, 1963, Mark had a natural talent for working with his hands. He had a green thumb and was a craftsman at heart, always able to fix just about anything. Whether it was a broken appliance, a car in need of repair, or simply lending a helping hand, he was the one people turned to. He found joy in life's simple pleasures - fishing by the water's edge, hunting in the quiet of the woods, riding his Harley down back country roads, and playing cards with friends, where he almost always came out ahead. He also enjoyed tending to his chickens and watching the local wildlife.

Mark is survived by his wife, Tammy Rineer; his children, Jessica Rineer and her husband Frank Miller IV, and Brandon Rineer and his wife Morgan Rineer; his sister, Robbin Misiti, and her family; his mother, Helen Rineer; and his cherished grandchildren, Frank Miller V, Laken Barshinger, and Zoey Miller. He was preceded in death by his father, William Rineer.

In accordance with Mark's wishes, his body was donated to science. There will be no burial ceremony, and the family has chosen to mourn in private. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
