Dear Beavis Clan
I just read your Mom's obituary. Yes...... So late, I confess. I did not know she had passed away.
As you may imagine I have so many fond memories of times I spent in the Beavis household when I was a teen. Your mom and dad always made me feel like just one more of "the girls". Of course, I remember I enjoyed the delicious homemade bread your mom skillfully baked.
Your mom exhibited a quiet and clear intelligence. She liked to read, as I do, and we recognized in each other a sincere love for a good book and an engaging story.
I am sure all of you miss her dearly!
My late but sincere sympathies to everyone in the family.

I had the honour of working with Mary at River Ridge. She was a member of the tone chime choir that I lead. She'll be greatly missed.

Dear Sandra.
I was sorry to read of the loss of your Mom. You will have so many happy memories and my happy memory of you and your Mom is of a group of CGIT girls having a sleep over at your home and how gracious your Mom was to have us all there. As your leader I wondered at such hospitality. My prayers for all of you. Mary Lou Langlands Hayes.
