MICHAELINE "MIKIE"
Age 72, of Pinehurst, NC (formerly of McKees Rocks and Sheraton), passed away on January 23, 2017. Dear companion of Catharine Shade; loving sister of Penelope 'Penny' Thompson (Balandiat); loving aunt of Michael (Cindy); loving great- aunt of Julia and Alexander; dearest cousin of Kathleen (Dick deceased) Livingston, Richard (Loretta) Milton, Dianne Milton (Matt), Karly Milton, Michael and 'Little' Mikie Livingston; also, loving cousin of Wanda, Mary Ellen and Nick Balandiat and Joan and Bill Agnew of Sparks, NV. Mikie was predeceased by infant brother, Robert; sister, Octavia 'Cleo'; mother, (Antonette); and father, (Michael) Balandiat. Mikie and Cathy spent an adventurous past several years in Pinehurst, NC. Down there, Mikie enjoyed her time with Cathy, the weather and their friends. Time on this earth is fleeting, glow brightly as long as you can. There will be no funeral service. Masses in her honor will be said at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin- Whitehall and at St. Richard Roman Catholic Church- Gibsonia.

My her soul be at peace and in the comfort of the kingdom. Mikie and I were best of friends while growing up in McKees Rocks. She was my first walk to school partner on our way to the senior high. May her family know what a fine, generous and happy person she was and know she will be missed dearly. Donna Fedio Neshoff

So sorry to hear of Mikie's passing. I went to high school with her and then worked at Prudential for 6 years with her. She has kept in touch via the computer and cards over the years. Dear Mikie's Family, I am so sorry to hear of the her passing. We had the pleasure of meeting many years ago when I worked with Cleo. We have kept in touch through emails and cards over the years, and they will be greatly missed. She was a wonderful woman who always had a smile on her face.
